The new version 1.3 of AZR3 does not load into Chainer or Energy XT.
Someone else with that problem?

if you're getting the error message about MSVCR71D.dll not being found, go to

http://www.dll-files.com

and download the file from there, unzip it and stick it in the windows system32 directory. that worked for me on eXT.

please backup or system restore or whatever before you do, just in case, as i don't want to get blamed for anything going wrong.

I'm having the same problem ('VST Host', 'energyXT'). Had no problem w/previous version...

 Hi, this is the developer.
I can confirm the following problem with V1.3:
AZR3 only produces sound after full initialization of its graphical frontend. Hosts which don't show the editor by default will not be able to trigger a sound from AZR3 before you manually open the edit window.
This behaviour should be fixed with V1.4 (out now).

Background:
AZR3 needs some time in advance to properly initialize all internal buffers. If this is not done you will hear nasty clicks and pops while playing the first note. With V1.3 I kept AZR3 muted until the editor has finished its "load bar". V1.4 has an additional timing counter which does not depend upon the editor.

THX for your feedback, it helps keeping AZR3 up to date.

P.S.: Some day I'd definitely like to hear some music people made with the Rumpelrausch plugins. Some day...

That doesn't seem to be the problem that I am experiencing. The plugin current release (5.1.06) just won't load properly... doesn't display editor window at all. Something else changed in the current update.

Thanks for your quick response. If I get some time I'll try running 'VST Monitor' or 'Plugin Consultant' to see if I can learn anything helpful.

I don't know if it is related, but AZR3 1.4 won't load for me in Sonar at all. I see the .dll in the window as the VST Wizard is running, but it doesn't show up as a plug-in. 1.4 is the first version I have tried (ZR3 works fine).

I can't even access their homepage these days. Keep getting a "403 - Keine Berechtigung!" message.

i have no trouble with the latest version 1.4, i did have a problem initially with 1.3, but since i placed the MSVCR71D.dll in my system32 folder, as i stated in my post above, the plugin works flawlessly.

i don't know if others' troubles are related but it may be worth a try. incidently i use eXT as my default host, but also checked it in my copy of sonarLE and it was ok there too.

 Sorry everybody,
it looks as though I mixed something up with the linker. I recently switched from Visual Studio 6 to 2003; obviously the project was not migrated properly.

I'll check again next weekend.

 OK, I found some bugs.
V1.5 is out, please check, it should not need any dll files anymore.

1.5 causes my CPU load to jump to 100% in Cubase SX and in Minihost.

(At least it loads though!) :)

Anyone else seeing this CPU problem?
