Anyone know of a simple gain effect?

Is there a vst effect that simply boosts volume, nothing else. Some of the plugins I have are just too low in volume so i need a simple, cpu light gain control.

cheers guys, looks like ggain was what I was after.
I could turn everything else down, but then i'd have to turn the whole mix up later on anway. Its only a couple of soundfonts that i need to boost

These are 2 dilemas in a lot of DAW host programs.
First the way that level controls make the mix to loud, due to that inserting new sounds all the time interrrupt the balance of the overall.
When I do eg a recording of vox, with some singer, I
usually put all other instruments on a group track in
Cubase SX. It then become much easier to adapt the recorded track to the music.
Also a lot of VSTi has to much dynamics in their sounds, that seldom are used in pop music. So a limiter on a track really can help out, to get some some more loudness out of them. But to many limiters in a DAW eats a lot of cpu.

Okay and it is still a clone of Waves L1?ARKE? O RLY? wrote:W1 uses about as much CPU as "Hello, World!"

Seems to be two W1 in the KVR database, I guess you
mean the Betabugs plug??
Tested this one now and it load in my P4 3.2Ghz
approx 4-9% varianting over the time. Not exactly
"Hello World!" but nice from a cpu usage point of view. It did enhance the low mids a bit to much for my taste, not 100% transparent. But it sounds good, with some extra loudness on some mixes.
