back on topic. A preference to specify the default input output configuration for both the standalone and new sequencer components. IE - for myself, I never record anything stereo, so I'd love to have all my inputs come up mono by default.

Even nicer would be a way of specifying something like "2 mono, a stereo, and then another mono".

It annoys me to no end that I have to keep going into both the master input and the sequencer input/outputs every time just to record a mono track.

-Option to invert the mousewheel zooming
-Option to use ctrl+modifier for scrolling and no modifier for zooming

Haven't seem this on this or any other thread for that matter.

How about an option to remember eXTs main window last used status (maximized or not) and size and position if not maximized?

I know it's anti-tradition, but what about the Piano Roll going down to up opossite to the right to left? I would find this quite more intuitive because you can see the piano like you play it.

Diek, when I first left Buzz, there was nothing more I wanted (actually top-down, like a queue)...

but now I'm used to it and am even afraid to bring it up because I know how hard it would be for "normal" people to adjust to that.
As far as time has been plotted, it's almost always been on the X axis.

This is not really an endorsement or a discouragement, just an anecdote.

I also started in Buzz. I'm mainly a guitar player (not necessary a good one). Sometimes I compose improvising in the keyboard, and once arranged I have to re-learn the songs. Is at that point when I miss more the horizontal keyboard.

Too weird. When you visualize a song, it goes from left to right. For samplers though it's an excellent idea.
