ive not seen it happen since.

but i got chattin to some girl who i imagine i would never have chatted to in a normal club situ,she was dancing away to kylie iirc,i was listening to a tape id done meself of the usual noise fest.i imagine the two of us would never have been in the same club ever otherwise,so it breaks down some barriers in that sense.and altho i was married and happily so as i still am today we wpent ages just chatting,actually chatting, whilst having a drink and then it was back off to our own little worlds of noise.
had i been single at the time perhaps that could have been the love of my life, and in normal club situation a like i said wed never have met and b we were able to actually talk rather than shout at each other

im not saying id give up the normal experience but this approach is pretty cool too

ya know, thats an interesting concept man,
a buddy of mine owns a small pub in town here and that gives me an idea,
a satellite radio feed and disposable earbuds at each table and a way to dial in separate stations, just like on planes
mmm conversation without yelling over house speakers,

please remember that I went to a vocational high school for tool and die making/machinist...I had an ebtire machine shop at my disposal for jokes...we did come back from x-mas vacation and our science teacher was on a little "vacation"...he never came back...they made the gym coach our teacher the rest of the year...the good thing is when I joined the army I was use to running a lot...

Hey Hink, soz for the l8 reply - had trouble hearing yer! Seriously though - I don't listen to music THAT loud, I think people who are permenently clubbing damage their ears the most..

Also, I think 75% is v.hard to measure, eg my mp3 player has volume levels 1-40, but my phones have an in-line control: I usually leave the mp3 vol on 30, and rarely put the in line control all the way up, but whatever the case I stay within that 75% - at least I think I do.. 1+1=2 u say? Fascinating..

Well, you're wrong. i saw a recent test and, whilst its all subjective of course, the audiophiles involved decided that a cheap pair of Au$15 normal headphones had better reproduction than the most expensive ear-buds. I've never heard a pair of ear-buds that I thought sounded even half-decent.

Thatz why I put IMO at the end of my comment BONES. The mobility of mx500s easily outweighs the loss in sound quality in my opinion < NB: IMO actually typed out just for BONES

Yeah...we should mix cognisant of the fact people are using headphones.

We should have 35dB clips and sharp Eq spikes that make them rip off their headphones at random occasions throughout any song.

are we becoming a headphone society?
