hehe.. true, it was a pretty rapid decline after the second one.. but at least they were watchable, and fairly entertaining.
i don't get why they took a new direction with the series with 5, and have all the movies about the people being in hell the whole time and not knowing it.. urgh..
if i wanted to watch jacob's ladder, i would.. at least they do it properly there. oh.. and btw, there are some awesome samples from that movie, which you could probably use to.. such as the one fla and vnv have used about demons chasing you, but if you're ready to go, they're really angels comming to take you away.. or something along those lines..

hellworld is probably one of the worst movies i've ever seen.. doesn't make any sense, and has nearly nothing to do with hellraiser.. what a shame. it makes part 3 look oscar worthy..
downhill after 6
how many did they make

I've been watching these later Hellraisers lately and while they really share very little in common with the originals I think they're ok on their own merit.
The thing I think is most odd is how they turned the Pinhead character into a moral judge of sorts. Previously he was a character that was indifferent to good or evil and was only interested in doing his job.

Any chance you can make a version for the Sampler in Orion, one sample on each key maybe, or even into kits for the DrumRack, 12 each kit?Sickle wrote:What are your favorite Horror Films/Film moments?
Don't discuss the films themselves, and if you must discuss anything, please discuss SOUNDS and LINES from these movies, nothing more, short and sweet.
Cheers,
D
Edit: Why I am asking:
If you consider all the spinoffs of the Kompact Sampler, I'd like to so something ananagous to that, but foucsing EXCLUSIVELY on a given horror film and samples from each for a series of Film-Specific sample players..
This will be 'special Reaktor samplers, but I can make all of the sample maps available in Kontakt format as well.
Each sampler will be unique, in other words.
just an idea. (i can do it for ya if you want)
