Recording in cycle mode but with each new cycle the next track down is selected and recorded on until you run out of tracks.
Anyone know a host that has this ?

Sonar 5 can record each subsequent take into separate track lanes within one single track, muting the previous take on each pass. Do what you like with all/any of the takes afterwards. Neat.

well I don't know of any that will automatically move to the next track. However Cubase SX will keep on cycling till you run out of hd room I suppose..then (I think) you could move parts where you want them.Holophonic wrote:Recording in cycle mode but with each new cycle the next track down is selected and recorded on until you run out of tracks.

Yea its cool for alot of things but the new cycle gets solo'd so you cant hear the other parts till you stop and press things. This was all inspired by guitar rig 2's loop machine btw.

Ah - I see. You'd only have to drag each take to its own track after you finish recording, though. Hope you find what you're looking for.Holophonic wrote:im looking for track separation so i can have monitor fx setup diffirent for each take.

AA does it too
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
