The new FL 6.06 beta on Looptalk fixes the ASIO problem!

At least for me, it seems to be a vast improvement! It is almost the same as FL5 now. Check it out and post back to Imageline. They need everyone testing it to make sure that there are no problems. It looks like FL6 is going to be just fine after all.

But did you have a USB sound card? With this version I can finally use ASIO with my OmniStudio USB. CPU usage also looks lower and Fruity Squeeze now sounds like it did in the earlier version.

You aren't running FL6 on an ancient machine either.

Ditto that. I've had 5ms with Asio4all and my crappy onboard soundcard from the first 6.0 releases, just like 5.0. Seems like only certain combinations were affected.

looking forward to trying it out. i'd DLed 6.03 and 6.04 but neither were useable on my aging computer. didn't bother with 6.05 but this one sounds promising. thanks for the head's up!

Once bitten, twice shy. I'll wait for something better than a beta.

I'm using a P-III 450mhz laptop with 128 MB of RAM. The only person that I know that is running FLS on something older is Buckskin, who is using a PII as a low end test machine.

I'm trying FL 6.0.5 demo on my X2 machine with an Audiotrak Maya 5.1 with Usb Asio Drivers in "Relaxed" configuration....when I load some long audiosamples in the browser the sound isn't normal, it's noised...when I the cpu load is about 90% (on 1 core) the audio will stop (the sequencer remain in function).
Are these problems caused by the Asio Driver/support?
FL support dual core cpu?
Someone has the same problems?
Thank you all!
