I always wondered:

How does it sound if you add sine waves with half-tone intervals over the whole spectrum?

are you sure you don't mean 1/4 tone? I might be mistaken but every step now is a 1/2 tone...no?

I mean 1/2 tone. But 1/4 tone may be interesting too.

It's called cluster in 20th century classical music I think. But how does it sound if you do the same thing with pure sine waves over the whole frequency sepctrum?

I don't know how many sine waves you need. But I think it is too cpu intensive if you do it in realtime?
