Has the emails gone out to esoundz XL owners yet, and I was missed? It's not like I'm hurting for sounds thanks to the massive size of STXL. Just wonder if maybe I was missed.
Thanks!!

The first thread (started almost a year ago) had much discussion on all of this.
Esoundz's web site now shows the sounds available, but states that only customers who purchased after 1/20/05 qualify. I think this was 'cause it was first mentioned at Namm on that date.
I do recall Squids doing what he's very good at (wanting to look after his customers) and promising to look at those who may have purchased a little earlier, but it's not for me to dictate his policy.
I'm hoping I still qualify as I ordered Dec 31st - was sent Jan 3 and delivered about a week later.
Pretty Please?

"Don't be disappointed. Dec 31? We'll hook you up. But, it's not a bad idea to see what comes out at NAMM when buying in January. You could also ask me "should I wait" and I'll tell you what I can. I help you guys as much as I can. You guys know that right? Anyway, if you bought from esoundz I can help you. If you bought elsewhere it is out of my control."

"Well, first it has to be done and released. Then when it is out there will be a way. Grace periods are always around when you want to please customers. I think both IK and SR will at least go back to Jan 1st. So, don't worry. When it is available we'll figure out a way."

Exactly, Dave. By the way, it is up on esoundz: http://www.esoundz.com/
Since there are so many different situations we can't have a policy that is complex beyond the normal policy IK has. So, rather, we just deal with each person individually. Platinum and Gold members get some extra special consideration of course and so do people who bought ST2 from esoundz "close" to the date... because we know how that is (and we know how I am) so... don't worry. We're pretty cool on that stuff. Another way to get a good deal or freebie is sometimes to buy something else at the same time. For example, if someone had purchased SampleTank 2 XL from esoundz a long time ago and they came to esoundz to pick up the Miroslav Crossgrade or Sonik Synth 2 Crossgrade then they could ask for half off on the sound disc or something... I don't want to give you guys ideas. All you have to do is contact elijah@esoundz.com and ask what your options are. He'll look up your account and make some suggestions or you can make a proposal to him for some kind of bundle deal or ask for a favor... who knows? But, we usually find a way to make you happy.

Thanks Squids
As much as wanting to say thanks and because I do like the sound of it - I just looked at the David Torn Tonal Textures cd on your site. It's a great price in Wav format for a member.
If I purchase and add in the comments section that it's been okayed to get the upgrade sounds (free of course
) at the same time, will that work?
As I'm on west coast it's difficult to phone an order through.
Alternatively, if you prefer I can email the same request to Elijah.

I got my ST2 XL via the eSoundz group-buy in the summer of '05, is there anything I have to actually *do* right now in order to start the process of getting the updated DVDs - or should I expect eSoundz to be emailing me automatically in the near future ?

Esoundz will be sending out a general email soon but actually you can contact elijah@esoundz.com if you are anxious.
He's pretty cool about the stuff you guys are mentioning so just tell him what you want and he'll try to figure out a way to make you happy.
Thanks.
Thanks.

On the shipping prices form esoundz, I have to say that on an individual purchase basis they do seem expensive compared to other sites. But, many times over the past few years I have found updates in my mailbox from eSoundz/SR that I never expected and never had to pay for.
It is all good in the long run.

The mailman in my neck of the woods must be hiding from a neighborhood attack dog because he has not yet delivered this email to me.riley4reason wrote:I got the email with the link and placed my order(paid for shipping)!! Thanks Squids and Elijah!

I don't want to clog Elijah's mailbox any more than necessary--is there a deadline that I should receive the Esoundz email by that would tell me that I need to let him know that I need some special handling?
Like everyone else, I'm anxious to get my hands on the new discs, but I'm also confident that you guys will make sure we're all taken care of.
Thanks

Before I emailed Elijah, I went through my inbox and found the order confirmation for the ST2XL upgrade that esoundz sent me, then I fwd it to Elijah with a message about the new DVD.
I think sending him that form helps him expedite the process.

I hope everyone has been taken care of here...anyone left stranded? I apologize if I've missed or skipped anyone. Please let me know. I'm just about done with the initial wave of requests and orders and so I'm perfectly capable of handling more. Anyone?
Oh and guys...please don't ever worry about my mailbox. It exists to serve you, plain and simple. You all deserve to be helped and assisted, this is why I'm here. So bring it on!! lol
Trizzle. Out.
