So I was sittin around thinking... why choose 1 guitar sound over the other.. why not overlay them?

So I DID.

The result is very nice indeed.

What did you use for the drums?

Only the end of the riff sounds a bit weird with the guitar playing triplets and bass drum three plain 16ths.

Only thing, and it's minor, is you've got a gate set a little bit too high, I think, cutting off the sound so that it doesn't sound like your pick or palm is doing the work but your processing.

Did you EQ the left and right channels seperately? it sounds like it.
