ok, I'm the worlds worst singer, I dont know any decent singers, and I cannot afford to go into a studio with a session vocalist.

But, I have a couple of quality (I think) tunes that now need vocals.

Ideally:- I'd like to send these tunes to someone, with a guide vocal, and get the tunes back, with a proper vocal track. Sort of an "Online session vocalist" affair.

1) Is this a stupid idea?
2) Does such a service exist?
3) Should it?

I'd sing it for you, if you're after a boy...

If not, I know some great female session singers in town, too.

Check out my "I know, I know" thread in the Music Cafe to hear me sing, although you should bear in mind that I sing in many different styles!

As for the idea itself, I reckon it's the way of the future, so go for it!

I've held this kind of stick from both ends, and it's definitely a viable way to work. Go for it.
