hi...
im having a problem with plugsound and superwave, when i render a song , plugsound sounds desynchronized, and superwave just sounds different when i record(midi data) and then press play...it takes some time to sound like the preset i've created, dunno if somebody is having this issues too, well that's all.

Post

Yep. That's why I don't use Superwave P8. Great synth, but for some reason, you get a different sound when you hit "play."

I've never had any problems with plugsound free and fruity

Perhaps that has something to do with the velocity of the midi notes you are sending it?

Or mabye its because FL sucks ass :P

Good day to all :hihi:

I used it with Cakewalk Home Studio 2 (forgot to mention that). It isn't the velocity levels, because my Roland's velocity level is always set to 100, and I don't have velocity sensitivity enabled. I always record into Cakewalk from my keyboard... so it can't be that.

yeah i've made the test with different velocites, and that's not the problem...

It's probably not compatible with certain setups. What soundcard are you using?
Mizutaphile.

Post

sb audigy...i've tested it with synapse audio orion and works fine, so i don't think it's a soundcard issue

Post

P8 works fine here, as does plugsound free. Do you have the latest version of FL?

Post

Huh. Maybe it's just incompatible with certain hosts. I know I had that problem in both Cakewalk and FLStudio. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

Edit: Oh yeah, just for the record, I haven't had this problem with Plugsound Free. Only the Superwave.

I did, that's for sure.

I didn't have the latest version of Cakewalk, though. I never updated it since I bought it. :D

Hi Ulonix!

They say plugins with UVI engine have problems in FL. I think Plugsound Free is one of those. HOWEVER, I've been using Plugsound Free for almost 2 years, used it in more than 20 songs and never never had a problem with it...

What you say about Superwave is true, the sound is not consistent.

Yep, Plugsound has the UVI engine. That also explains why I couldn't get MOTU Symphonic Instrument to work in FL.

There was a work-around fix posted for the UVI engine...let me see if I can find it.

Yes, in looptalk search for 'Improved Proxy for UVI Plugin'

Carb.
