Indeed, but it seems the problem was introduced in recent Discovery updates, wich I didnt wrote.Arguru, can you explain why DiscoDSP's Discovery has suddenly stopped working in FL6? Worked fine in FL5.
Just to be clear I'm not trying to be a smart ass. Just hoped you might be able to shed some light on the FL-Discovery issue. If I remember correctly you are/were involved with DiscoDSP.

My report on FLStudio 6.0.8 (I'm trying the demo)
Work better than v6.0.5 (obviously!) but remains problems with two things i think:
Or Asio, or the dual core support.
When I do a pattern with several instances of Wusikstation and the cpu work is on 90-100% cpu the sound is going to be noise.
When I see the cpu monitor (soft by amd) I see that one core is working on 90-100% and the other on 5%.
Can someone explain this? thanks!

It is not exactly useless. If the VST plugin is a frontend to some piece of hardware, it is a bit difficult to arbitrarily switch block sizes on every process(). Having a fixed block size allows you to accumulate the tiny slices auf audio data hosts like FL feed you with and (hardware-)process only once they add up to the size of one whole block.arguru wrote:In fact, VST reported block size is plain stupid and useless if your rendering process function have a lenght parameter. This is Steinberg's fault.

That's the thing, if the idea was use a fixed block, then the sampleFrames parameter in process is useless and will lead to cause confusion.
