Hi,
The best tool on the Market for Beat Destructionizing, Cuting etc.
is definitly Stylus RMX from Spectrasonic with it´s build in "Chaos Designer".
All in real Time and u are able to make your own S.A.G.E files.
The price is about 249.- Euro. But it´s more than worth......believe me!
The Guy who has programmed Supatrigga was involved to design the "Chaos Designer" too.
This tool beats all I have heard before in intelligent beatslicing!
U will be able to select off-beats, backbeats,.6/4 whatever you want and squirl
and replace them live!!!!
The Fx section is really cool too,...especially the Compressors .....;-)
If you are looking for Freeware the live Cut, Suppatriga and C.O. plugs are the best solutions off course.
Normaly i only read this forum,....but this time nothing could hold me for reply this Thread......;-)

not on topic at all,
but thay all shouted at me for using caps when i was new (over 3000 posts ago)
but none of them took the time to notice i have dificalty reading & spelling
cap's are my only way to write on paper, & much easer for me to read,
any way back on topic, i like to do it by hand in a sampler & use my midi keys as a controller
allthough live slice looks like lots of fun, (if i wasent so f**king broke i would probly owen it)

you could do all that with the energyXT sampler and the midi part composer.

There's also Reaktor. Did anyone see that video which Quincy posted , showing the Drum-n-Bass dude with his live Reaktor setup
You should definitely look at that video before making a choice!!

There is nothing wrong with the built in beatslicer from Kontakt too! Kontakt is a sampler it has a good beatslicer timemachine! A lot in one VSTi! UI also have Phatmatik but use it never since Kontakt.

this thread mentions a lot of plugins that just slice beats, but only a few do what the original poster intends of re-ordering the beats, like livecut, suppatrigga, lucifer, chaos designer, etc.
i just thought it should be clarified that although phatmatik, liveslice, dr. rex etc are great tools you're still left with a ton of work ahead of you after the transients are detected.
