The box on the Amazon screen is for Windows ... but they usually package the Win/Mac versions seperately, so who knows. I believe that one of their cross-platform programmes recently went Windows only (was it Premiere?) so they seem to be moving towards a Windows bias.

They dropped Premiere on the Mac because it could not compete with Final Cut Pro. Adobe still makes roughly 50% of its profits from Mac software.

In that case perhaps they would go mac with Audition some day. The mac-based wave editors are not as good by reputation as Wavelab/Soundforge/Audition are, and they are all PC only of course.

And Adobe just announced LightRoom a direct competitor to Apples Aperture. Mac only right now, but the Windows version will be along shortly.

And I think I was wrong in the last post and it is more like 40% profits from Mac, but that is still huge for them.

And I cannot tell you how many people would scream if they dropped After Effects for Mac. No way. Motion is no AE replacement. Nor is Shake.
