erm. correct me of I'm wrong, but in an OASYS class keyboard, only the audio samples, hardrives and GUI are handled by the basic computer hulk, I'd expect it to have plenty of dedicated DSP power by korg for the actual OASYS synthesis.
It's quite similar to TC system 6000... That's actually running windows NT for the IO and GUI.

What synthesis? I thought the Oaysis did everything except acoustic physical modelling? A keyboard at that huge pricetag, that can't do physical modelling is unbelieveable.
