OK, so I've found myself in an interesting bind here. I recorded a band in Cubase SX. We didn't have the resources to record the drums as well as we would have liked, so I personally went in and programmmed BFD hit for hit to the crappy recording of the drums. here's the thing: The tempo was not consistant throughout the song. So I made tempo maps in Cubase that followed the music, then I programmed the drum hits.
So now I've moved onto ProTools 6.4 with a digi001. I tried importing the midi into protools, but it matches itself to the tempo set in protools. So i've got guitar tracks at varying tempos, and drums at a constant tempo now.
Since PT 6.4 doesn't support tempo mapping, I'm treying to figure out a way to export from Cubase SX without it referenceing the tempo.
The only solution I can come up with is playing the midi out of cubase, and into another computer with protools, that will record the midi there. However, this would require me to move my setup across town.
Anyone know of any better solution?

Render the drums to wav is one solution.
You could record midi to another computer if you have one but it does'nt necessarily has to have Protools in it.Any sequencer will do.Save as midi file and import that into Protools.
