im wondering if anyone has bought anything from http://www.modernbeats.com (http://www.modernbeats.com) ?

they mainly do Nu Skool RnB hiphop type beats. fairly priced at $30 a library, but there is very little info on how many beats are in one of these libraries(yeah maybe im just lazy to look harder). also has anyone used their scratch samples. im always interested in supporting smaller companies so... let me know what's up here.

thanks.
I have their Tim1 and Neptunes3. Its definetly Nu Skool. I have a hard time find the right bass drum in these libraries, but the snares and hits are tops. I wish I had went with the MAudio Prosession samples instead. Ordering the downloads from them was kind of strange too.
I've bought a good ammount of samples from them. They are worth every penny. Lots of samples in every pack. If you buy the right packs you will do very well. Some of them go together but they don't tell you that. Neptunian have the best kick drums and klub klapz are great. Dre drums 1 are a good one aswell. Those three should set you well on drums. I would say yes to buy the ethnic drums, but not the ethnic instruments. Good luck! :)

If you know what you're doing, or even if you don't, they still sound great. :)

Oh man. This really is last year's airlines, but I have to hand it to everyone who posted here, it actually took me a year to buy just one volume of their stuff and it was Da Vinyl drums. I purchased, and then a few weeks later this thread resurfaced. It really feels like the Twilight Zone.

Well anyways in all fairness to the efforts of the people who dug that far back into the KVR forum to find this, I do think the drum kits in Da Vinyl 1 are pretty darn good and I would try more in the future. They just released a new set of beatboxing drums btw.

I've actually quite liked what i've heard from them as well - but one guy with 2 posts, one with 4, one with 9 and another one with exactly 1 post praising them kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it?
