Hi I'm checkin out your site right now and I like what I'm hearing... but... I am in a metal band that uses baritone guitars normally; however I'm in Iraq with little more than a laptop and an internet connection. I use fruity loops to write music and I enjoy writing guitar parts with slayer (and slayer 2) but they still dont really grab the realism I'm after. Does your software include samples that can play the notes/chords I'm looking for. Baritone tuned down a perfect fifth (ADGCEA)or perhaps a seven string with a similarly low tuning? Basically anything that tunes down that far and still sounds realistic and can be played with some mean ass distortion... Also does ManyGuitar work well within FL Studio 6?
One more thing: Do you guys sell the sound packs individually cause I would love the celtic stuff (wth the cello's- love it!) but I don't really need the full ManyStation program?
Thanks

I could be wrong, but from a previous discussion I believe it came up that they only go down to a low D. Am I right on that one ManyTone?
Excuse all the blood.

Hi Guys

In the initial content that comes with ManyGuitar we did not feature any sets that are actually tuned that low.
One of the reasons for this is that it will take a Large Package of Samples to do this style you refer to and make it sound decent.

This therefore would call for an addon sample package that fully features this style. The other thing is the mapping of these Full drop tuned sets. It will be easy enough to map chords to keyboard notes but when it comes to mapping the actual drop tuned individual Guitar notes ...i think this may be a bit tricky to get proper.

Anyways we are looking into this and hope to have a proper Heavy Drop tuned sampleset sometime in the future.

In ManyGuitar now there is a 12 string acoustic that was sampled down to a Dropped Low D, but not anything too specialized.

As for selling the samplesets from ManyStation (Like the Cello and harp etc) ..... It is not planned at the moment but we do have a few ideas in the works. With our crossgrade pricing though you really can't lose out by buying ManyStation. Then you get ManyGuitar for $49.99 (Until the end of the month ...then it is $69.99 for crossgrade). ManyStation allows use of the Samples in much different ways than ManyGuitar, for example Layering and Wavesequencing etc... So it is Nice to have Both as that is what our Samples were designed for. To me I love some uses of the Guitars and Basses in ManyStation as much as ManyGuitar.

If anyone wants a Better deal on ManyStation just email me ... I can set it up for anyone for $79.99 right now. Email is all it takes.... then you get ManyGuitar for $49.99. (I'll do this to give some newcomers a chance to get all our VSTi and the Samples for a Great price!)

As said ... I really want to have a Nice Heavy dropped Sampleset available. Just not sure yet exactly what or when it will surface, but it is high on our list.
Thanks guys
Paul

Hi again, I was also wondering wether or not ManyGuitar worked within FL Studio 6 (Fruity Loops). I thought I saw somewhere on the site say that you have an application that allows us to build our own sample sets... How well does that work and would it be the same quality as what I hear coming from you guys. I could probably get my guitarist to sample my baritone for me if I could get a quick guide from you guys.

Yes, manyguitar works perfectly in flstudio 6 - as does all of the wusik family of products. Manymapper works excellent for mapping existing samples and creating a wusiksnd sound file for manystation (nor sure, but I believe manyguitar too). You can use a program like Sound Forge for looping the samples. The quality is as good as you allow it to be. All the way up to 24 bit.
