So Im trying to do the Live Lesson: Setting Up Latency Compensation but I getting stuck on the third page where it wants you to "connect a audio cable to short circuit Live's output 1/2 to Live's input 1/2." I have audio cables plugged into the first two line ins on my Digi 002. But when i play the clip in Track 1, I get no signal response from Track 2. The volume display just stays low, producing no sound. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong so i can continue this lesson. I'm getting too much delay to record my buddys bass properly. Thanks for any help

ALright thanks for the help but now it seems that the tutorial isn't working for me. After I find the millisecond value and input that # into the Overall Latency field, nothing changes when i re-record the sample. WTF?!ZRA wrote:you need to connect the in to the OUT not to both ins.

You need to set monitoring to 'off' for the 'overall latency' field to take effect.
On the channel that you're using, set the monitor section to 'Off'.
That should do the trick..
