Or you could just forget reverb for a while.

make 'em sound good without reverb first. reverb is the first thing to remove things like punch, intimacy, or great sound image.

...unless you know what you're doing. And in that case it's difficult to match noisevault L960 impulse set, or echochamber VSS3 set. SIR is probably the most refined free convolution processor.

Stick to short ambiences and chambers before going off with the long eighties crap halls.

Hmm that ambience one doesn't appear in FL I placed the folder into the VST directory and scanned and it is not there.

Then you've done something wrong. Try again. There's no reason why it shouldn't work.

forealz? I always liked the reeverb in FL, and the new reeverb 2 especially. Not many freebie/cheap reverbs match the reeverb2 in my oppinion.

I know that FL reverb is the same as SONITUS:FX Reverb....what about FL Reverb 2 ??

Somebody needs to do a *proper* reverb shootout, like bmanics compressors thread. (not that I'd need it, but quite a many people do).
