Get stuffed!

Oh I see. You were right, I'll try and cool down. :D

That's why the world has lawyers.

I don't know, it is already pretty low - how much could it have dropped?

Anyway, I used to think it was an interesting and postive aspect of the VST business that at KvR there could be such an interaction between developers and customers, that small developers could basically grow and change in a dynamic with their user base *and* the wider music software community.

Threads like this have proved me wrong, however. I can only commend Aleksey's and other developers for their patience and 'pr' skills in such an environment.

it's amazing how much shit can fly about such a little thing.

Yeah, it might be bad IF - any of voxengos plugins were buggy and really needed an update to function correct, and IF ANY of voxengos plugins sucked in their current state.

It's just kids trying to wind you up aleksey ;) - I don't see how anyone would seriously be thinking of going to court over this.

Everyone likes free stuff - and yeah some folks will grumble when the chance of a freebie is gone - but you probably had to do this at some time so it might as well be now.

Kind regards

Dave Rich

up to now no-one in this thread threated to do so - not by a mile - what about reading before hitting 'reply' next time? :P

It is what it is.

obviously you haven't read the thread, or
'threads like this" means threads that show support. Before you condemn people, judge KVR's effiency and such, I think you should have the facts straight...

Will you guys all get yourselves a nice steaming hot cup of STFU?

There has been nothing of any value whatsoever added to this thread for a long time. Give it a rest.

I'll have me two of those, please.

In fact, this round is on me. I'll personally serve them to all the tritone crusaders, too, spiced with RTFEULA.

sorry I disagree, I think that patting Aleksey on the head and saying it's alright is not very helpful at all. Like was pointed out, no one is going to get all up in arms about it, I don't see any lawsuits. But as a business that I want to see stick around, if I see or someone else sees what might be a problem for him, then as loyal customers we should point it out to him. That in itself is not negative, and I do not think this thread is negative.

However to say STFU is quite disrespectful and even less help, perhaps in that case you should of followed your own advice. I have offered up nothing but constructive criticism for Aleksey, so has many others...then along comes a few to stir the flame part. Pointing out potential flaws is not flaming, it's important. Reading things into threads and jumping on people on the other hand is flaming and not constructive in any way.

I'm trying to help Aleksey make this transition go smooth (again as are others), when I see a potential red flag I'm going to let him know. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong...I'll be the first to admit it. When I or someone up brings up what could be perceived as a negative comment I would rather be wrong, than to STFU and be proven correct when it's too late...;)

I'm sorry but I have to agree with egbert here. It's just these kind of "well justified" replys that have been making KVR a miserable place as of late. I know you mean well but it's just comes out as meaningless whine, like someone complaining about other persons constipation. Lighten up will ya.

Lighten up, that means I am coming across as the heavy, as that is not my intention I from this point on keep my suggestions between Aleksey and myself...sorry for ruining your KVR experience.

 I'm never awfully serious about anything. Just trying to make a point. Besides, you're no troll or annoying twat crusader.

Nothing aimed at you Hink - the reason I expressed it that way (couched in terms of that lame joke) and not quoting anyone was to express a bit of frustration and make a fairly lighthearted suggestion that we let this drop rather than flog a dead horse for another twenty pages.

I just could believe how much tit for tat bulldust about who had bothered to read what and "lawsuits" was being added to this thread.

The thread was started by Aleksey and was for a page or two a discussion between some users and Aleksey - some useful customer feedback for Aleksey and a chance for a few of his customers to express their views. I gave my view - I own rather a lot of Aleksey's plugs so this affects me more than most - and read all the posts from other users.

Since then, it has taken on a life of its own and the last 4 pages are pretty worthless by any account.
perhaps in that case you should of followed your own advice
Yes lets let it drop right here Hink - I'm out.
