Does anyone consider this a problem? (strings)

Hi, I´m thinking of investing in a good orchestral samplelibrary. (who doesnt?)
Anyway, what are your experiences using strings ensembles, but writing "divisi", so that perhaps the violins play two parts, not just one?
If the samplelibrary just have samples of 14 people playing violin (and not two extra versions with 7 people) playing, and you use that for two parts, then suddenly in that place in the song there are 28 violins playing! Does that sound unnatural to you? Shouldnt it? Do you use libraries with divisions for each stringinstrument? I find in VSL Opus there are no such extra "half" ensembles.
I mean in a real orchestra, it´s not unusual to have an ensemble split in two parts. (The cellos play fifths for example! Gotta love it..)

VSL has a smaller library that i use for exactly this divisi
Chamber Strings.. might still be on offer right now, as they've just bought out the new VI range and the horizons are now old stock

fitch: yeah I guess that would be a solution.. Expensive though.
I cant understand why a such expensive library as vsl opus doesnt include smaller "divisi" string ensembles though. (Well.. Of course they want me to buy more MORE MORE!!) I´m dissapointed.
Anyone else who has thoughts about this issue?

I've heard other people bring up this problem as well, but in all reality, when you have the different faux-ensemble parts sitting in the context of a full mix, it REALLY doesn't matter. Even some of the most picky orchestrators I've met don't consider this thing to be a big issue.. I wouldn't worry

zircon:Thanx for the good news zircon! I sure hope that´s true.
What about those passages for example, where you want violins only playing a chord? (no big context of a full mix) You want the sound of divisi violins, not violins + violas + cellos playing.
Maybe that wont be such a big issue either. (?)
