Is there a VST that imposes an envelope on the absolute volume of an audio part? Like, you have a dynamic recording, and you want it's volume to rise steadily instead...
In Cubase, I can draw the relative volume on a part, like when automating mixer faders, but that wouldn't do the trick: instead of a straight line, I'd have to draw an irregular one, using trial and error - or am I missing something here?
If such a VST doesn't exist, it would be nice to see Elevayta or Voxengo have a go at it...
VST with absolute volume faders?

That's a nice work around, thanks!mbell wrote:Just heavily compress the audio part, then automate the volume fader.
