This is the VST version of the "dt block fx" written for BUZZ.
At the moment it is at:
http://the-auditorium.net/viewtopic.php?t=3472
There's a screen shot and more info there.
windows version only.
Can you tell me if it runs ok under cubase?? I've tested it in live, fl studio & renoise.
I need somewhere permanent to put it... any suggestions??

yo
i've started a few tests in Flstudio6.08 and it seems like when i recall presets that the values of the controls at the top (overlaping, blocksize etc) are not recalled to my values, but instead put to default(85%overlap, 92ms block etc..)
anyway thx again this is a cool tool, now i have my fav spectral thingie usable anywhere
letme add that i think the GUI could be a bit more explicit, even if i have no big prob as i know how it works.i think it could benefit of a clearer GUI
keep on the good work

I used the same overall values at the top for most of the presets - does that explain what you see?
With the GUI, would floating tool-tips do it for you? that's what I intend on sticking in...

hi darell
some spectral modes are more/- efficient with overlaping, block sync, etc...that's why i'd like to have the top controls saved with the preset (cuz for now i think they r not)... my wish is just to recall my settings as i saved them cuz for exemple, harmoadd sounds totally different with long block size and no overlap than 92ms blocks and 85%overlap... so every time i have to re-settle the values of overlaping and blocksize to find my tweaks back.
About the GUI : was just saying that my own personal subjective partial tastes go for very minimalist knobs and all : visibility first
. I don't need tooltips, it's even worse hehehe. In fact i already know blockFX quitewell. i just like very simple sliders/knobs and values
...but nevermind this is not very important
i hope i'm clear and not boring !
cheers

Does that mean you want the preset to be stored after you change it?
Darrell.

This is a wonderful plug, thank you very much!
I've had the chance to fiddle a little and: wow. The cpu usage is pretty impressive for what it's doing. The gui controls are a bit squeezed, but this is a great sculpting tool!

Darell :
yeah mate
please if u could make the top controls (mixback, delay, overlap, bloksync, blklen) savable.
to try to be completely understood
here are how i'm proceeding :
in FLstudio6.08 : i put blokfx as an insert on a channel, tweak some parameters (including overlap, bloklen etc..),
when i have cool settings i save a Preset in Flstudio's format (.fst) in order to recall quickly the plugin with the desired settings in any project.
But what occures is when i drop this .fst preset on a channel is that it properly recalls every parameters EXCEPT those at the top of your GUI (delay, blklen, overlap, mixback etc..)
did u caught my point now ???
) (i'm not native english so perhaps my explanations are crap)
thank you !
edit : sorry please read "autoharm" instead of "harmoadd" in my previous post.
