There are quite a few IR reverbs now. Aside from the old cliche that IR software is only as good as the IRs in use, does anyone have a preference?
Wizooverb claim that its reverb improves custom IRs, but is this really noticeable in practise? Is Voxengo's reverb better or worse than Gigapulse? Etc.
Thanks

I would agree that IR software is only good as the IR used. Im quite happy whith SIR. I do think that in general they color the IR differently and that can be a good thing too. If you are fortunate enough to, you could have a number of them working in your tune.

I'd recommend taking a look at voxengos pristine space. VERY powerful real-time impulse tweaking (envelopes on gain, EQ, filters, stereo width), zero latency mode, time alignment, up to 8 channels. Plus Alexey's great support and minus any obstrusive copy protection scheme this is my first choice!
I think the Wizoo "sounds better than your impulses"-claim is probably only marketing BS. Anyone did a real listening-test yet?

I use Sonar Producer 5 with Perfect Space and I do like it but...but...Just purchased the Waves Native Power Pack and got the IR-L for free - I believe it to be one of the best after all I've listened to and I've tried most of what is out there. Some of their impulses are just plain stunning and clean.
I don't have issues with their ILok process - works fine - their support is great. I like their plugs - With the Power Pack, Mucisicans Bundle II, Sonitus, and Elephant my plug search is complete - I have all I will need for now and use.

I think Sir is best for reverb.
And if you can't cope with the lattency:
Revalverb, very simple, no lattency and its free.
DL : it used to be somewhere on the noicevault forum.
