Copy of Logic for pc

Hi.
I'm a Logic Pro 7 user.
The sad thing is Logic is Mac only as you all know.
Anyway, I would like to have the last (5.5.1?) Windows version for when I work something on pc.
Now we know that it needs a XSkey in order to run (and I have one of those cool white ones) so it would be legal, I think, if somebody could e-mail me a copy of this version.
If you can do this please do, cause, although I could have any day the cracked version I don't want to use it and prefer the legal thing.
I e-mailed to emagic but I received an automatic reply with some standard tech support related stuff (XSkey replacement etc), so I don't think I could get it from them.
I also downloaded from their ftp the last windows update but it is indeed just an update so no luck here too.
I hope there is someone here who can help me on this as I would like to use Logic when I'm working on pc also.
Many thanks.

Most probably you won't be able to run Logic 5 with the white XSkey. A fellow musician of mine recently upgraded from Logic Silver 6 to Logic Pro 7 and got a new white XSkey. Now with that key he can not even run his Logic Silver (OS9) anymore, but has to use his old blue one.
I myself run Logic Pro 7 with still the old blue one and can run any version that came after 4.8 with that dongle.

Yeah, that's correct. The XSKey contains three major pieces of information - the program/plugin, the major version number and the platform. Current Apple XSkeys are only authorised for Logic 7 Mac, so the key will *not* authorise the Win PC Logic 5 version. (Or Mac 5/6 versions either.)
If you were a Logic 5 Win user, then Emagic gave away free crossgrades to the Mac when they axed PC support, so my XSKey has authorisations for Logic 5 Win/Mac, Logic6 Mac and Logic 7 Mac, so it will work for both.
When the plugins were separate items, the licenses contained authorisations for both formats - in fact, the plugin licenses didn't use the platform info at all.

Cheap, functional, and no faffing around with an XSkey. Midi Studio's a direct adaptation of Logic 5. You'll miss a few features, but not many.

No, this is the latest release - UK version 11, came out in the autumn there (I think there may be a version upgrade patch due soon if past experience is anything to go by - a few bugfixes and some new features maybe - we'll have to wait and see, though since v. 7 the full new-version features of Midi Studio haven't appeared till these patches come out).
Full 24-bit support is something they're going to have to address sooner or later (Audio Studio will cope with 24-bit, but not record in that format), but I'm not holding my breath, I'm afraid. Still, I've been surprised at some of the other features that have appeared in the last few years, so who knows?
As for the price, that's not so much a Magix discount as dependent on the box-shifters. Unless you're in a rush, never buy direct from Magix - vendors on Amazon or eBay normally undercut them by a fairly wide margin (beware eBay, though - for such a cheap set of packages, it's pretty sick how many cracks there are of Magix programs doing the rounds.
