I don't agree that version 1 was so-so though; I've used it twice and both times found it ace!

I like the fact that it doesn't look like an amp, but feel that (we retarded) guitarists are put-off by that...

So it takes them a few hours to model an entire setup of amp, cab and mics and they can only be bothered to add three amps for an entire version increment? Bargain...

I'm not impressed. Though, there DID seem to be a bit more "space" or "air" (whatever you want to call it) to the sonic character, compared to units like my TonePort.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in this... after the awesome other stuff they've done, I just don't get it. GTR is below AT1 and that's saying something

Have you actually used GTR? Is there even a demo?

GTR Is (IMHO) the best ampsim currently on the market; I'm convinced that the reason it's not more popular is because:

A. It doesn't have a flashy GUI and

B. It requires some understanding of guitar amps to create a decent sound.

You know nothing! Waves GTR kills any other amp sim by f**king miles. You must not know how to acheive a decent tone in the first place. As for comparing GTR to Amplitude 1, well how embarrising to admit that you like Amplitude better.

Have to snigger about the Guitar Rig 2 review in SOS and basically how the USB controller is basically crapolla. Back to the drawing board at NI

Waves GTR 2.0 already!!!!
