Adobe Audition 2 rewire BIG TIME PROBLEMS...

I'm having some serious stuttering issues with rewire in Audition 2.. Anyone have the same problem?? Let me know of the fix.. I'm using M-Audio firewire solo (Guitar input/rewire playback).. Also if this doesnt work can I legally reinstall AA1.5 ?? Im on a deadline..

You should post this over at AM Forums, as they are specific about AA2!

However, you are not the only one to experience Audition Rewire latency, all sorts of problems are happening to people that are using it! Which host are you using as Slave? I didn't quite get what you are doing with the Firewire Solo.

About 1.5, sure you can reinstall and for your information, you can have them both installed at the same time, without any bugs or problems!

I was thinking of buying a Firewire Solo! Do you recommend it? Any problems with it?

Thanks jp.. and ok so it's legal to have both runing cool.. I've used both FL6 & Melodyne as my rewire slave with no success.. I noticed that on the Adobe forums allz they talk about is Propellerhead latency issues...

Actually latency problems have also been reported with FL Studio! Maybe I'll try Rewire too...

I've had the same problem with Audition which is why I gave up on it. Latency is shocking with v2.0 and ReWire. I noticed that if I am playing back my track and playing ReWire, latency is short, but while the project is stopped latency is very high.

Also the general ReWire interface in Audition 2 is terrible.

Looks like the problem might be independent buffering in AA Mulitrack.. In 1.5 you can change the buffer sizes etc.. I get no real latency when rendering from rewire client in 1.5.. I guess I will have to revert back.. sucks
