Chordspace and FLStudio

i read some threads about chordspace...and all are saying its a great app....so how the hell u set it up in fls....im just dieing to try this greatnes :)

i dont think that the author expect me to click with a mouse on the hexagrams to use this app right? :)
after all we r musicians :)

i set it up like this:
1.load CS as vsti
2.load Pro-53 as vsti
3.CS midi-out to 1
4.Pro-53 midi-in to 1

so now i can play with the keyboard the separate notes on the Pro-53 via CS...but why can't i play the chords(hexagrams)...is CS or FLS for that matter at all able to send more that one midi signals at a given time...

if its not posible can i it be done via energyxt (loaded as a vsti in fls) or something...
anybody done that?

you have it set up correctly , for FLS ...

at this point , you have several options ...

you can:

01.] trigger chords by pressing the hexagrams ...

02.] trigger chords by individual midi notes , from a controller , as described in the table located on the right hand side of the chordspace GUI ...

03.] trigger chords by individual midi notes , from a midi track , as described in the table located on the right hand side of the chordspace GUI ...

have u tried this thing u r sugesting or u only think it works like that...
the reason i ask is because i tried all that u say and have those tables on the right side of the CS GUI
set up corectly but i still cant play the selected chords by a controler or by a midi track...

this is precisely the problem i have....not beeing able to play the chords(hexagrams) by a controler or midi track...(this would make this plugins realy usefull u know)
maybe CS can't take midi input or what...??

maybe the mighty nuffink can share some light on this subject?

well ...
i use it , as i described ...
i'm still using FLS 5.02 , and haven't upgraded to v6.08 yet ...

i don't use a controller , but have no problem triggering chordspace from the
channel settings keyboard ...

if you want to trigger from a midi track , insert a midi-out track , route the midi-out track to chordspace midi in port ... chordspace midi out port routed to ( whatever ) vsti midi in port , as described above ...

does that help ?...

oke thanx guys for the replies

i found the problem...its frigin kontakt!
i tried it with pro-53 and chordspace works just fine...i can play chords and all...

can someone try this with kontakt or tried it already and see whats the problem (the strangest thing is i can see kontakt geting midi because the sample zones light up when i play chords on chordspace but there is no sound; only if i play single notes i can hear the sound).....i have this wonderful boesendorfer piano multisample i want to play with chordspace and i cant :)

is it posible to record those chords to piano roll....i see notes on pro-53 are pressed but piano roll records nothing.....maybe some routing is needed or some midi trickery requierd :)
