It would probably be pretty hard to do, but imagine how awesome it would be!

Something in between NDCtrem+ (but not only stereo left/right, but also "in front/behind") and Mda ROundpan (but with a wet/dry option, an amplitude option, maybe tempo-sync...) ;
I like the way echographz can put a delay effect in space, but i don't want delay, and i would like the sound to move...
DOes something like that exist ?
Not to mention it's far different than the realism you can attain using holophonic sound. Read up on it, if not already, and you'll see how awesome it is.sinkmusic wrote:Yes, i have been posting the same thing in 2 forums... i think it can suit both... ?
Prodyspace places the sound in space, but it doesn't give the ability to make it move automatically...
Panorama allows you to assign controllers to left/right, back/front, AND vertical position. It's not free, but well worth the pricesinkmusic wrote:Yes, i have been posting the same thing in 2 forums... i think it can suit both... ?

Wow, that first helicopter circling MP3 is REALLY good! Thanks for the link.ew wrote:Panorama allows you to assign controllers to left/right, back/front, AND vertical position. Yup, that's one of the more famous examples.eidenk wrote:Have you tried listening to that ? : http://www.stighammond.com/watson/2006/ ... _mp3_.html
Sound goes up and down !
That's pretty damn good actually. Is this a custom plugin you are making then?Gregjazz wrote:Okay guys... my first binaural VST effect test.

Sorry about the background fuzz, it's not the actual footsteps recording, but when I later recorded the movement live using my VST I had it turned way down. But I'll just say that I purposefully added the background noise so nobody would steal the footstep sounds.
Yeah, from scratch. Needs some tweaking and stuff. Like I said, it would be great to implement the vertical axis--working on that now. But as far as lateral movement it's sounding pretty good. Might need a little more work when the sound goes behind you though, and I'm also putting in some room-modeled reverb to increase realism.robenestobenz wrote:That's pretty damn good actually.
