Yes, specifically! You can change the EQ to any number of bands/settings, but you can only export directly to the Firium frm format. Otherwise you use the included DSP-EQ or manually copy the settings into EQ of choice.Lagrange wrote:Hey is there compatibility with Elemental Audio's Firium???

There have been a few threads discussing them. Like everything else, you get wildly different opinions.sghoughton wrote:Has any comparison been done between aams and harbal?

Like Sheyet, eh? Hmmm...hasn't been my experience, except for the latest version can really expose problems in your mix. If the mix sounds phasy after using the 100-band EQ, try switching to 50 or 25-band. I take it you're following the multiband compression settings also? Sometimes the EQing sounds harsh until you get the multiband going, then you see what the idea is.Lagrange wrote:The only problem I have with AAMS/Harbal type apps is that they make my audio sound like sheyet... I know it's probably my lack of experience but arent these apps supposed to help??..

I tried the version 1.5 recently. What I found is that my mixing / mixtering wasn't bad at all, as the differences with a reference song I chose was minimal to my ears. Which shows that it is a good program!

Yeah, it's down. Come to think of it, v2.0 is supposed to be out tomorrow, so perhaps he's pulling the old version for now. I'll check the forums.
