Hello everyone

Just a quick note to let you know that we a 20 mb+ FREE version of our new sample release 'In Your Face Drum &Bass' aka IYFD&B

The versions will soon be in all the following formats:
  • Reason refills
    Rex versions
    Apple loops
Multisample format - NNXT, Kontakt/Intakt, Akai, Halion and Sampletank2
IYFD&B is a cracking Reason Refill construction kit of loops and hits in true grimey Drum & Bass style by up and coming producer Joe Odity. It has lots of developing partials so you can build your own tracks easily.

On TuneJet you can listen to an Mp3 demo track and downlaod the demo inside the TuneJet Store

In the full 235 mb version there are a total of 322 24 bit 44.1khz samples including 102 drum loops, 32 Bass loops, 24 FX loops, 14 drum construction kits in both NNXT and ReDrum Format, 20 ambient pads, 20 Drop bass, 20 Reece bass, and 20 FX pads. A Demo Reason song file included.

Let us know what you think of the demo version in our forum

HI

Talk about going around in a loop for a demo  .

That was very hard work and I got nowhere near a demo!

Cheers!

In fact put a link up here for the demo as I think you might loose peoples interest as your site is bloomin confusing, getting to a download demo is at any rate.

You got some nerve, guy. I've got more than my share of experience with this stuff, and I'm definitely not a newbie, but damn if I can figure out how your site is supposed to work. If you've got some enticing samples for people to check out, post 'em where we can see 'em, or at least provide a direct link. I just spent, no, WASTED, 15 minutes trying to navigate your site to something that even remotely looked like a demo of the samples. Nothing in SampleTank, but i finally found your download link for the .wav files. But WAIT! You need to be signed in to get them. I'll be damned if I'm going to waste another 15 minutes trying to figure out how THAT'S supposed to work.

Keep your freebie. If that's any indication of how you treat customers or potential customers, then no thanks. Others beware...

Thanks for the e-mail, and it works now, just downloading. 25MB is a nice gift, thank you, will test later.

i would humbly suggest that requiring registration for a demo designed to attract customers is not a good business move. :?

Thanks for the feedback Scuzzphut...we'll look into the policy.

We were hoping that it wouldnt be too onerous to get the free versions considering that they are larger than your average Freebie at around 20mb+

After all it just takes a minute and then you can login directly...there's no email confirmation etc.

Maybe we should have a poll to see who minds registering?

HI

Finally got to download the demo pack.

Sorry to say that I was not taken by anything in there - the pad sounds were ... well, pretty dire as were most of what I heard, same ole breaks as well.

On the strength of what I heard: I have to say I wouldn't download the library if it was free.

Might be someones cup of tea - I just think you gotta be coming on serious when it comes to this genre and very few people are - be it in sounds or music.

I went through a rather lengthy registration process at another site recently to get a freebie. It really does put people off. I wonder if you guys have any way of tracking all the people who bail halfway through the procedure?

I've got a gmail acct. that is full of nothing but spam from having to sign up for "free" stuff. Better there than my main acct, that's for sure.

Maybe you think this is rather a harsh reaction to your offer. But many of us here are collectors of samples and have a lot of experience with going to various websites and the hoops you have to sometimes jump through to get things.

Maybe we seem ungrateful, I dunno. But the sample biz is very competitive these days and standing out from your competition is what you have to do.

I wont try to get freebies anymore if the process takes longer than 5 minutes. Free or not, my time is important too.

My 2 cents worth.

Bob our registration takes less than a minute and you can log in directly after with no email confrirmation to wait for etc.

Subjective taste (above) notwithstanding a lot of people are now downloading the samples with ease.

Based on comments above we have reduced the path to ALL the freebies to only one click 'Free Downloads' once registered

Please understand this is an ongoing process and we are constantly making new format translations and samples which will go up over time. So if the format you want isn't there yet.. it will be soon

As for the comments about 1 minute registration for free access to samples we have added some polls to the right hand side of TuneJet.com so everyones voice can now be heard and counted :P
  • The first poll asks your opinion on the registration- we will use this to inform our policy.
The second poll, what your favourite sample format is.
We will prioritise making new freebies in the formats based on the second poll. So tell us what you want and we'll do our best

Any other issues or suggestions let us know here or in the TuneJet Forum- no registration necessary to post.

Best Wishes
