Glide/Portamento with overlapping notes using a monophonic synth or synth set to one voice only?

(no, one voice only, not one ping only)

I'm just wondering if something that affects MIDI from a different channel (routed from another) can act as FLstudio's 'slide', pretty much like a MIDI gate but for slided results.

(i tryed one ping only - it simply don't work )

Would be a nice tool.. the FL slide I think is one of its unsung features

(have you tried the one ping only delay FX...? one ping-pong only?)
