Im looking for a simple plugin to track the amplitude of one signal and apply it to another. This is simple enough to do with Csound, but it would be cool to do in realtime with a plugin.

For example, I would like to take a filtered white noise signal and apply the amp env from a live audio recording.

Any ideas?

Cheers

my lpc-vocoder lets you apply the frequency-envelope and amplitude-envelope of the modulator-signal to a carrier signal seperately, both with adjustable amounts

thanks, than have fun and do cool stuff with it!
BTW: if you are only interested in the amp-envelope, i recommend to set the analysis-filter-order to minimum (as you actually don't need it at all) - this saves CPU.

Also Amplitude Imposer!

I have an amplitude to CC tool in my sig. You can map the CC to the volume of the signal you want to control. (I use XT).

I wonder if there's a pitch detecting one?

I know there's something like that available, because Effex Modulator has pitch detection, just wondering if there's one that outputs a CC#..

Ya, I should check that out!

You might also want to try our Digital Peak Meteror Digital Peak Meter Pro that let you record the amplitude as an automation envelope and then apply it to any other parameter of any other audio track.
