Yeah, if it wasn't already possible using apps/plugins like Chainer or EnergyXT. Not only that, but both these apps have patch morphing randomizing features. Something that may show up in about 15-20 years on Reason. Then I'm sure I'll have to endure more fanboys/sicophants also claiming it to be another groundbreaking feature... all over again.

You guys really need to get out more often.

I love reason. I think it's the single best music app there is. But combinator significant or unique? It's rubbish. Pitiful shite.

Now with improved MIDI jitter!

Hmmm, I guess this is supposed to mean something.

If you interpreted it as intended for you, you've probably figured out what it meant. :-D

Anyway, this thread has degenerated into the usual nonsense so I'll hie me to a nunnery and bid y'all adieu and enjoy the bashing.

combiniminatastic!

Dunno what all the fuss is about... Some of the combinator patches included in the factory sound bank sound pretty good to my ears...

Seems a rather nice feature, with a lot of possibilities...

...but it's nothing compared to multiple instances of NEON! BEEP-BEEP!

Did i really say that? When?

If i did i don't remember, and it must have been a long time ago because i only drop in here now and again, i'm not a "regular" like i used to be.

Ah well if i did say that ignore me, i always thought that reason was a great concept but pretty poorly executed. if you want to quote me, quote that :)

oh and entirely unrelated, yeah i do need to get out more often. But then i just spent £350 on a flashy DJ cd deck so i feel obliged to use it! :hihi:

Yeah.. those shit samplers. However did people manage to put up with Akai's so long.
:?
I got rid of my akai's when I got Kontakt whats your point? I dont count NN19 because NNXT does everything NN19 does, plus a lot more.
Actually not. Everything on the NN19 can be automated, but none of the knobs in the remote editor (the part of the nnxt which is retractable) can be automated.

Reason is still a good program though. After working with a number of other applications for a long time, then taking a break from them and doing something in Reason I find that sooner or later it occurs to me that I haven't had a crash, threatened crash, glitch, error, not even the slightest thing has gone wrong and it's a comforting feeling. I realize that my total focus has been on music, not getting sidetracked on tracking down a bug or strange behavior. Reason doesn't have nearly the options of some of the other sequencers, but that reliability and stability has to be worth something.

I especially like Blue Pad (1) and Chrome Pad (like the sinister bass note!).
