I just have to stick my nose in here and point out that English is not Denis' first language either. I think lines are getting crossed here, he's a really nice guy, I swear.

It seems both of you have completely misunderstood each other. He didn't mention "cracked software." "Cracked it" means have you figured it out, as in solved the puzzle, found the answer, CRACKED the CODE etc.

- Well ok, i do see maybe a reading confusion is going on, but also saying Cracked-it on a forum is bad news i think. But a good misunderstanding is likely to happen when talking about audio or audio programs. The main part is setting down and i would like to hear users mastering with AAMS and their results, that should be a way better discussion. And i do have to say that giving away 50 Processing times and a free 21 days of listening is quite a good start, at least i do not kill my users attention by blocking my program! (or having 8bit output, gggggrrrr) , so for a free demo to use.
You can at least kickout 4 or 5 tracks... with ease..
So why not, test it for 21 days, and let us all know.
I can see that you might have some issues about something you see on the first day of use, there is a lot that comes clearer in 21days of free listening use....
So Tell me your results later on!

Well if you look up this post a bit you find your answers...
You used AAMS V1.5 for 21 days, so aams v2.0 uses the same registration and expires directly. You can email@curioza.com about this but read the Registration Manual Fist, then ask for a free 21 day trial again...

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it another try on the old laptop and see how it copes.

Hello all,
Being a new user of AAMS, I have tried a small "test" with AAMS to understand better the way it works:
1/ AAMS analyzed two different songs. One was loaded as a reference, the other as a source. The suggestion EQ was then exported into Firium.
2/ The same songs were analyzed by Firium, using its "match" feature (one as source, one as target, same order as with AAMS).
3/ One would expect to have the same result (the same EQ curve) for the two experiences. However, when looking at the following graphs, the results are very different, especially in the low end and high end:

Can someone explain to me why? Is one program more reliable than the other? Should I use one program over the other one to do this kind of thing? Or do they do two different things? Thanks for any explanations...
Melodioso
P.S: I tried to post this message on the AAMS forum for a few days now, but it seems it is impossible, even for registered users, to get acces to it: "Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum."

Hi Melo
I am sure Denis will give an answer at the AAMS forum. I have never gotten a user account to his forum but you should be able to post this as a guest. It will be interesting to hear Denis's thoughts
