This is in energyXT [21 january beta and v1.3.6].
On Thursday, my song was using the beta 5 version (dated 31 Jan) of LiveSlice.
I replaced this on Friday with v1.35 (dated 01 Feb). When I loaded the song again, eXT objected to this new version of LiveSlice with an Access Violation message ("Access Violation at 00401A59" and "Write of address 00000004" if that is of any help).
When I renamed the LiveSlice dlls to make the beta version available again I could open the song correctly.
Seems to be some sort of incompatibility between beta 5 and v1.3.5.

i can't reproduce this.
i replaced the final with the beta5, made a quick song in eXT, closed eXT, replaced LS with the final again and everything reloads just fine. perhaps the old problem that you got another version of LS somewhere in your VST folder?

or it could be ini file related perhaps. I don't recall making any drastic changes from b5 to the final release. I'll send you (Darkstar) the latest build just in case, and perhaps include a debug build as well if you don't mind sending me the logfiles.

Ohm has sorted this out, and the fix will be in the next release.
- It was caused by the particular combination of the ASIO settings on my PC.
- In energyXT, my Setup settings were: Buffer Size 441, Sample Rate 44100, and in my ASIO Sound Control Panel the Latency was set to 10 mS.
- for the moment, all I need to do is increase the Buffer Size (450 works for me).
