It will be back, though, much more impressive than this one (really!).

Thanks as always, mate! And the "bourbon street demo" is great, even if the great guitar-player seems to be from Hannover, not Hamburg :). Sounds truly great, Sascha and your drums together...

I am interested in hearing anything you might make with them.

I have heard your drum programming and know it to be first rate.

Cool!

Do you have a set of drum-pad controllers or something?

I don't I am afraid, so I don't know how this 'feels' so to speak.

This is my first semi-successful (i.e. functional) virtual instrument.

I am working on an immense sample set with at least 75 velocity layers of all of the drumkit elements in the GM spec, for each of three different kits. The first is a Ludwig Vistalite from circa 1973, the second is the vintage Slingerland kit heard here, the third a brand new and extremely fancy Tama kit with all of the 'bells and whistles' so to speak.

nah.. I piano-roll my own :)

I use a 7 piece Pearl XPK at the mo, with a steel Hollywood snare. Hollywood were a subsid of Ludwig. I've had the thing for years. It was part of a 4pce jazz kit I bought. the rest of the kit was sold on, but I kept the snare. The hoops are perfect circles with lugs that grip onto the hoops from the shell. Quite unique.. loveley sound. I noticed from some pictures that Barrymore Barlow of Jethro Tull was using on their 'Bursting Out' tour in 1978...

My cymbals are a hotchpotch. My fav cymbals are my 16" 5Star Zyn Crash/ride, and my 12" China from a Chinese instrument shop in Covent Garden London.. Man it's trashy. I have a 16" Paiste China, but it just doesn't have that great sound..

Haven't had chance to actually play properly for some time - hope to rectify that soon :)
