One of the complications in groove quantization and even using loops in acid is that the loops needs to be edited well. And many loops you purchase are not that well edited. Sony's tend to be, but many others need further editing. They may loop well, but the markers are not exact. That takes time, and you have to do it by hand.

I'm guessing rex files have the same complexities.
