UBK and Mac?

Hi
UBK is Soundfont format. (or Wusik / ManyStation format) So if there is a sampler in Mac that plays soundfonts then you should be good. I am not overly familiar with Mac or the products you mention but maybe some others can chime in on that.
Also we are looking into a possibility of Future Mac compatibility on our ManyGuitar VSTi which loads the UBK.
But again ... just looking into it at this time so no promises at all here.
So... does anybody know more info on the original question.
Thanks
Paul

Okay .. I just did a bit of searching and I do not see Soundfont listed on the Mach Five specs ... but it does offer conversion from some formats.
I may have to look into providing UBK in a format that will easily load into Mach Five. (Perhaps Akai or other?)
I have Extreme sample convertor here so i may easily be able to do this.
Any help or thaughts from any Mach Five users would be appreciated.
Thanks Again
Paul

Aren't they making EVE for Mac? At least EVE2 will have Mac version, so that might be one alternative.
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Thanks for the quick response guys. Much appreciated. Anything you can do to get your products compatible will be very welcome by the Mac Community.

Hi Guys
Seems Geoff sorted this out and Mach Five is able to play soundfonts.
Our Ultimate Bass Kit is Downloadable in Zip (easier to Download on Mac) or Rar format, and is compatible with any Sampler that supports Soundfonts.
So Mac users can start using some Manytone sounds. UBK is only $29.99.
Also some of our upcoming Samplesets will also be available in Kontakt, SF2, and other Sampler formats.
Thanks guys again for the help and comments here.

Very shortly EVE 2 will be released, supporting Mac, and thus, making it the first VSTi to support both DASH and WUSIK snd files on the mac platform. This should open up a range of new sounds for MAC users.Chamelion wrote:Thanks for the quick response guys. Much appreciated. If I was you, I would hang on for the EVE 2 release and buy UBK in WUSIK format to use it in EVE 2. Check out the specs of EVE 2 at the Dash Signature forum, there was recently a MAC public beta version, I don't know where it is now though.
