Still doesn't work, could you upload 2 screenshots of your racks as well. All the connections are gone. This is my main gripe against racks, there is no easy way to send them to other users.freeztar wrote:I'll look into that slacknote...
In the meantime I added links to all the plugins (and preset used) in the first post.
Put the 'Rack' in T'rack'tion!!

Or maybe update your tracktion archive because you're still using old versions of MrRay and Stringtheory.freeztar wrote:I'll look into that slacknote...

Ok...I updated the archive with new versions of mr ray and string theory. I also added a screenshot to the first post.
I agree that rack transfer is not as seemless as it should be, but with different versions of plugins it becomes a little difficult. It would be nice if T prompted you to find the missing plugin so you could easily replace different versions and still maintain the preset/settings and routing.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. Racks are one of Tracktion's most unique, and unfortunately underused features. Anything to expose the power racks to more users is definitely appreciated.

Thanks Ben, always happy to help the fellow tracktioneers!Beno wrote:Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. Racks are one of Tracktion's most unique, and unfortunately underused features. Anything to expose the power racks to more users is definitely appreciated.

I have gained SO much information from this site, and specifically this forum, that I feel obliged to try and give back. I found Tracktion through kvr and the only reason that I tried it was because T1 became free.
Racks are awesome and indeed underused!
I used Tracktion for a few months without ever touching racks. One day I read a post at kvr about racks and how to use them. I used those basic instructions and began experimenting with VMT (Virtually Modular Tracktion).
The uses and implementations possible for racks is limitless. Perhaps a 'rack collection' could be established where people create original racks and post them to the conglomerate?

Valley offered to do that about a year ago.. I guess he's been too busy! I have a few racks ready to donate if anyone gets it together..freeztar wrote: Perhaps a 'rack collection' could be established where people create original racks and post them to the conglomerate?

If I had the server bandwidth, I'd be happy to do it...
valley defintly seems busy these days.
Perhaps we could coax spe3d into creating a space for this?
The auditorium is already ripe with various music and discussion, why not create a rack group, under samples.
