And good news for 907A users, Chris has mentioned here that it'll be getting some new gubbins soon.

But wha' bout me ol' gubbins, mate? :) I mean, I've only had this gila monster for about 12 hours now, and it's already become indispensible.

Top drawer piece o' kit that one... :band:

No question, it's a really cool filter as is. I''m reasonably sure that at least one of the add-ons will be a master gain boost. You'll find after using it for a while that that will be a welcome addition (easy enough now to bump the volume after the plugin, but would be handy all the same to have internally).

Post

what would be cool would be an auto-makeup gain feature. So output levels are equalized with input levels.

There are going to be several additions to 914, which is the replacement for 907A. It will have gain and wet/dry mix, among other things. I'm reasonably sure that anyone that uses 907A will be very happy with 914. It's next in the queue, as soon as we get BigSeq out the door (which will happen quickly. I'm actually taking time from writing the manual to write this very post.)

Spot on-I've found that already.

Now what to get next from AD? :?
The only thing that bugs me about their stuff is no software demos and only a couple of sound demos.
It's easier now of course that I know first hand what their software is like-first rate.

i'm also excited to read of discord 2...
i returned the 907a because because subtle changes took too much time - the urge to grab the non-existant wet/dry as well as overall gain knobs arose fairly quickly. with those added it might be a lot more convenient. will see. :)

anyone know what ad's update/upgrade policy is?

Thanks for that Chris. I'll make sure and keep some money aside! :-)

Any chance of a product bundle and maybe a group buy for the bundle from you? I'm interested in some of your stuff but it's a lot more appealing as a discounted bundle...

Post

Bundle? Maybe. Probably not. Group Buy? Ain't gonna happen. If we charged any less for these plugins, we'd be paying to make them.

As for the 907A->914 transition, we're still talking about how we're gonna pull that off, financially. 914 will almost certainly be $39.00, so owners of 907A will probably have to cough up the ten bones to go to the new one. We're not positive about that yet, though.

Chris,

Good to know. Most developers bundle or discount their stuff after a bit so I usually hold out for the deals. It sounds like you're straight from the start with your pricing so I'll just have to pick up what I need when I need it without expecting a deal to come along...

Great work, by the way... :)

Bravo!

Keep up the great work. These plugs are already a great value!

Why the sad face? It was $29. If the 914A comes out at $39, and you have to pay $10 more to get it, it's still $39. Same as if you buy it new the day 914 comes out...or you can stick with what you paid for and got for $29. Don't be sad
