I agree with your top 5. I'd just swap Rayspace with the Arts Acoustic.
The IK CSR is going to have to kick ass up and down the block to better these two.

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but one of the coolest Reverbs I've come across is "GlaceVerb." It's definitely worth checking out, plus it's freeware.

Just to be a bit picky here: why do you imply that "native" and "convolution" are mutually exclusive? As far as I know, "native" plugins are called that because they run in the CPU's native code (as opposed to running in a dedicated DSP chip). So, for example, Pristine Space is a native convolution reverb.
Maybe you meant "algorithmic" and "convolution" reverbs?

Yes fac, you are right.
feyshay, I have to try it later at higher level than I can do atm.
Shadowtech, Glasverb IS nice but in my A/B it did not make it upwards.
Neverless a nice freebe.
No demo without dongle and we all know IK by now...

We will see, but I dont have too much hope here.JeffSanders wrote:The IK CSR is going to have to kick ass up and down the block to better these two.

I'm afraid, did not do any other presets. although those might also work on percussion. usually, for percussion, I take either a very simple reverb (sonitus or classic reverb) or I take an impulse response of a real space with a convolution reverb.h.vox wrote:have some good presets for percussion?AKJ wrote:don't forget spnaudio roomverb m2. I just have the m1 ( http://www.kvraudio.com/get/519.html ), soundwise it's almost the same but has less tweakability. but still more than most other reverbs. just mind that the presets are not very good. if you demo it, try it with mine: http://www.power-xs.net/download/roomverbpresets.zip![]()
you know, snares, hats, and various percussions ...
(for drum: try the "nice drum room" impulse from voxengo, it's done by impulse modeler - and thus artificial - but it's my favourite for realistic drum rooms)

I also think the QuickQuak Verb is a very good and lust sounding reverb.
Its quite funny! I also did email the developer, that this plug-in is a very good one and just needs some tuning:
-a little bit in sound quality
-and a better GUI, not htis kindergarden`s like GUI
I`m sure he would sell his product MUCH better if he was using a professional looking GUI
The reverb quality and the way its generated is very nice and also very realistic. It has one of the lushest and transparent reverb tails I`ve heard.
But it also has problems with short percussion sound...
But the fact that WaveARts Masterverb 5 is not in your ranking makes me thinking.
Because it is alos a very good quality reverb.
For me the best 3 natives are (not impulse response as this shouldn`t have any sound):
WaveArts Masterverb
QuickQuak
ArtsAcoustic (little bit behind the others in sheer)

Sorry, I gave WaveArts Masterverb another try, hifiboom wrote:But the fact that WaveARts Masterverb 5 is not in your ranking makes me thinking.

but no, for me it would not even make it into the top 15...
Spinaudio Roomverb m2, would make it into the top btw,
its a very dense and nice reverb.
ArtsAcousticReverb is the best sounding and most flexable of them all.I agree with your top 5. I'd just swap Rayspace with the Arts Acoustic.
But RaySpace sounds more like real rooms/halls,
like what you would expect from a convolution reverb.
Thats why I think it should still stay number one.
But I think, ArtsAcousticReverb can compete already,
with the upper class hardware units.

I hope you tested WaveArts Version 5 and not 4, as Masterverb 4 was pretty shi**y sounding...Midiworks wrote:Sorry, I gave WaveArts Masterverb another try, hifiboom wrote:But the fact that WaveARts Masterverb 5 is not in your ranking makes me thinking.

I agree - never could get comfortable with the sound of WaveArts 5 demo - liked the WaveArts4 demo better - just me.Midiworks wrote: Sorry, I gave WaveArts Masterverb another try,
