To celebrate my new website (thanks wordpress!), I've uploaded a pack of 99 raw bass samples.

All of them are sampled from my Studio Electronics ATC-1. Its got real punch to it, so these are SOLID sounds, probably best suited to dance, trance, electro, DnB etc.

All samples are taken at C2 and looped, so just drop them in your favourite sampler, map them across the keyboard, and start rattling those windows

Yep. i didn't really see the point in doing more. As they're basses, you rarely use more than an octave anyway.

Even so, i still sample 4 notes per octave, and for bass sounds, every note for two octaves.

Sure, it's horses for courses really. Other stuff I do multisample, but these are fairly simple so they transpose well. Plus it gives it an old skool vibe that I'm quite fond of

(plus if I did it your way I'd have to loop 99x12x2=2376 samples!

Yeah, my plan is to add various sampler formats later (I'm waiting for ShortCircuit 2 to come out

), but I don't have Orion so that would be good, cheers
