Actually, i have a question. Does anybody know of a way i can change presets within a plug using MIDI notes?
I figure while i trigger random notes with the note tablet using one MIDI note, i can somehow change presets simultaneously with another note.

Use a midi munger.
*,NoteOn,0,10,*,*,n,ProgChg,0,10,*,*
Uses note 0-10 to change presets 0-10

It's been reported many times but Jorgen hasn't ever said anything.
It happens in quite a few situations.

Kind of like gate time on drum pads...
Any chance anyone could make this?
The controls would just be Gate Time, Velocity to Gate Time..

my plugins use system fonts. If it can't find them (Aerial Bold, I think) then it tries to determine the next closest. Sorry to say that that is a system specific bug.
I'll see if I can find you a link to the right font.
(Anyone else having this problem?

Dear Soma,
Thanks for clearing the things up. I will try to find the font myself.. For your information, I am running chinese windows, maybe other non-english windows have the same problem?
Thanks again, it is a great plug... if it works for me~ LOL~

Hi,
I think I found the workaround.. I already have the font in my system, what I done is control panel -> region and language-> in the advance tab, change "chinese" to "English (US)", after reboot the PC the fonts look good in the plug.
I don't have this problem in other plug though..
Thanks Soma!

The note_table_plugin is exactly what I want when triggering notes from my percussion pad. I have one problem though. The low input range has no setting for note and it's always set to C. Also it would be nice with an option to not forward the midi messages outside the input range.
Thank you for your work!

say, how do you actually USE that drumpad thingy? is it exclusively a mouse input thing, or can it be used some other way (like the computer keyboard)?

if you mean my plug then the answer is that it's thought to be used with the mouse as an alternative to a midi-controller. you can connect the midi-in of eXT or e.g. trollo to its input, though, and then it works like a kind of translator, transposing all notes to the corresponding notes in the octave the plug is set to.SleepyP wrote:say, how do you actually USE that drumpad thingy? is it exclusively a mouse input thing, or can it be used some other way (like the computer keyboard)?

Hi NicFit,
just discovered your great midi plugs. this is really a great resource! wonderful work!
I got a question (or two). is it possible to make a velo scaler with a curve control like in ControlCurve? And I tried microtuner but it does not work with some of my synths. do you (or anybody else) know any plugin with does the same thing (microtuning with scala file support) in a different way so that it will work with all vstis? or do you even plan to do this?
cheers, akj
