Hello
I am looking for a free synth, capable of making simple but massive sub basses, like in dub music or drum & bass, or in mick harris's productions...
I would like it cpu-friendly and efficient..
ANy advices ?

I think SYnth-1 is a little bit too thin at this, and Triangle2 is sometimes good, but i would like something else...
with a good bottom, presence and tweakability...
this should exist !
I love iblit for basses, but it doesn't have sine...

DelayDots PhatPro FX plugin is what you probably want, to extend your current synths into serious sub-bass territory. It's an AMAZING plugin that's greatly overlooked, one of my favorite 'secret weapons'.
It's not free though, but the good news is that it's only a measly twenty-five bucks

Analog Warfare 2 can also produce some nice bass sounds, it's free, but you'll have to register at their website.

I had already dled ANalogue Warfare 2, it looked nice, but sounded too thin imo...
Krakli LIzard was able to make basses with more presence... it was a bit more "solid", as AnalogueWarfare2 was more interesting as a combination of many oscillators, bt one osc alone was too common... (not to denigrate it).
Maybe that cableguy CUrve would be good at this...
Delaydots... 25 bucks...
I have already tried a few years ago some of thier plugin ("bombphat" r something like that) : it was very good !

iblit is incredible;
the midi learn function is great.
That is right we can have some nice subs, but strangely, without any sine waves...
