I'd give just about anything to have that concept grafted onto my Ztar.

It is available in full-size (nearly 8 octaves) and half-size (nearly 4 octaves) versions.
Feh. That's TET-dominated thinking and calculation.

I wanna CME 19-odd-limit tonality diamond controller. :-}

So its basically a fretless bass for keyboard players. I think I'll pass.

Out of curiosity, did you watch & listen to the Jordon Rudess video demonstration? I honestly don't see how this instrument can be so easily dismissed, given the multitude of parameters that can be controlled from the one surface using two hands. Not to mention the extended techniques such as gliss, legato, and vibrato all right there for the hands (where they usually find their deepest expression).

It costs way too much, though.

OMFG I've tried to get someone to make me this thing!
Thanks for pointing it out

Well, it's only 9350 cents for the large model, that's less than $100 if my calculations are correct...

I'm with Bones on this one. Maybe if it was in a normal price range i'd say it's cool, but for now I'm going to leave it for the rockstars of synthesis to buy - yes i'm looking at the Jordan Rudesses, BTs, Roger Mannings out there

Oh yeah and since i'm so big into making JPEG requests these days, someone put a Behringer logo on one of these and let's price it at $45.00 :)

When I win the lottery.....This thing looks like it would be more fun than jello-wrestling with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!

...Well, more fun than jello-wrestling with the Dallas Cowboys, anyhow...

I've only seen the one vid and listened to a few of the songs so far, but it sounds like they're mostly playing it monophnically, or close to to it. The spec says that the pad detects up to 16 fingers at a time. Obviously designed for space-mutants.

Thanks, Shane, you keep coming up with the neatest stuff!! :D

Take care,

Oh shit, I thought it was 320USD. Oops. :oops: :lol:
