Yes, EnVerb is nice, but ArtsAcoustic Reverb sounds much sweeter for inverse and gate-like reverbs...
It comes with quiet a lot of presets of the nonlinear section...
where are the gated, reverse reverbs in our virtual world ?

dont be silly, in the 'virtual' world you can use a normal gated reverb and simply reverse it!
i mean, can you imagine the excitement of audio engineers and composers in the dawn of the digital age. these techniques suddenly became available to them at very little expense.. has all the inspiration of our world been lost?
people i suppose dont realize the kind of power they possess once it becomes an every day thing.

i don't disagree,
i remember clearly once when i had to translate the reels on my 8 track tape recorder just to create an incoming reverb on the beginning of a vocal track,
this as many times it was needed before it sounded correctly !
by my side my motivation in debating here is much more focused on the concept itself rather than necessity
_______
...and In fact, I'm amazed actually that there's no kind of tempo-based gated or reverse reverb plug-ins, as much as i can see ?
