Hi, made this song yesterday/today. I wanted to see what I can do with Jeremys SoundCell 2. So most of this is done with samples from there. I also used Zvons horns in few places. And another WE product is ManyStation and UBK. Drums are my favourite drummer; JamStix. I mangled the drums quite a lot.

Anyway, bitrate is VBR 140 (Lame -V4) and the filesize is 4.5 MB.

I'll bite, even though this track is not my cup of tea. The drums, although they sound good, are too in my face and I found it difficult trying to listen around them to everything that is going on. I might also have the wrong idea about "dub", but this doesn't sound like dub to me.

Sorry for being negative, it is just my opinion, but it gives you another bump

i kinda like this, but would agree the drums need pullin back a little perhaps,some cool stuff goin on in the rear its a shame to hide it all

Negative is usually the best thing, otherwise how can I learn? I mean, I'm just doing these things that pop into my mind and maybe there are some good ideas that I should use and other things I have to correct.

Really, I'm a feedback junkie, it might seem a bit desparate bumping my own threads but I want to hear comments, being negative or positive. I'm just a simple bass player trying to find my way through in the electronic music, and if you've listened to all the tracks I've posted you might notice that all of the songs are of different genre. I just do and listen to music that I like, be it heavy or weird electronic.

Also another thing that one might notice is that none of my songs are finished. In my life I have completed one song, and even that is to me still incomplete.

Next weekend I have to focus on the drums and the mix of those (These are also my excercises for mixing and recording, since I'm basically just a guy who invested loads of euros to the studio and the other guy does the recording)

Anyway, thank you guys for listening, I really appreciate it very much.

I agree that it's missing certain elements i'd associate with dub - but I like it, reminds me a little of my mate rootsmans stuff.
I like the first part most, that nice kinda distorted high lead tone.

I ran vocals through CameSpace and got hte lead. Thanks for the comments!

Well, I have to comment on the genre thing, that I have no idea what dub is about. There was some element which just got word dub in my head when I was making a mixdown, so it ended up being "dub"

They were vocals ran through camelspace? Cool.
It is 'dubby' though I reckon, certainly has the right kinda bassline - a creeper.
